Susan Eileen Jizba, Screenwriter

I’m getting back in the game.

I had fun playing around with weaving fibers and fables and selling custom story snippets in my Etsy Shop and now I’m getting back to screenwriting.

I started off at UCLA Extension in the Writer’s Program. I had some success with my screenwriting including winning some awards. I almost sold one of my original TV pilots to a British Producer before the financing fell through. ABC considered hiring me as a writer and I had industry interest in my feature specs.

Recently I updated my features and pilot and I’m currently writing a new feature.

New Project – “The Portrait

My current project “The Portrait” is a feature – drama.

My Pinterest Board “The Portrait” is my inspiration board for this project.

It gives a sneak peek as to the themes running through this project.

Completed Features/TV Pilot:

Here’s a list of some my projects (see above menu for links to the summaries):

“Guilty” – feature, drama

“The Eternal Flame” – feature, period piece set in 16th Century Italy, drama

“Formosa Place” – TV Pilot – one hour, drama/comedy

Just to put it all in one place, here’s a few of my links:

General Pinterest

My blog contains samples of the types of “story snippets” that I sold through my Etsy shop – customers gave me 15 words and I wrote “story snippets” using their words.

I’m also a member of the wonderful industry organization “Greenlight Women”   Greenlight Women is an alliance of accomplished creative and business professionals 40 and over whose mission is to champion women and promote diverse perspectives in media

I’m currently engrossed with my characters and the world of my new script “The Portrait” and happily screenwriting right now…..
